Cacao Brings Us Together: Mexico City's Festival Cacao Para Todos

Cacao is more than chocolate. In Mexico, it lives in family recipes, frothy drinks, carved jícaras, stone metates and the hands of the people who keep these traditions alive. From October 29 to November 2, 2026, those worlds come together at the sixteenth Festival Cacao Para Todos in Mexico City.

Held at Museo Diego Rivera Anahuacalli in Coyoacán during Día de Muertos, the festival gathers cacao growers, chocolate makers and artisans from across Mexico, plus invited projects from Guatemala. Visitors can explore artisanal chocolate, tastings, workshops and traditional drinks such as pozol, tascalate, tejate and chilate—each carrying its own regional history.

Beyond the flavors, this is a meeting place to learn from people who cultivate, prepare and preserve cacao. The festival brings the people behind the ingredients into the conversation—exactly the spirit of Cacao Brings Us Together.
